carolemon actually started by accident. in 2023, i was heading to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour and wanted a different color for every single era. when i realized how expensive they'd be at a salon, i decided to try and do them myself! 🎉
what started as a DIY mission turned into a creative obsession. that fall i painted my first set for halloween, and i couldn't stop. when i discovered you could make fully custom press-ons that actually fit your nail shape, i was completely hooked.
soon, friends and strangers were asking where i got my sets. it blew my mind that people wanted to wear my little nail sets — but bringing those tiny visions to life brought me so much joy, and it still does! ✨
i went to art school for video game development, but traditional art never really clicked for me until nails. turns out my medium was just really, really small.

after ordering, dm me your inspo — pinterest boards, screenshots, photos. anything that captures your vision. the more specific, the better.

i draft a mockup.
for complex & master sets, i put together a design concept based on your vision and send it over for your feedback.

we refine until it's exactly right. then i get to the fun part.

i hand-paint every nail.
no stencils. no printers. completely freehand — 2–8 hours per set, with music and audiobooks in the background.

i photograph your set, package it carefully, and send progress pictures along the way.

One of my favorite sets was a custom Disney commission. The customer wore them on her daughter's first trip to Disney World. Knowing something I made became part of a memory like that — that's exactly why I do this. 🏰
